Texan by birth. Expat by choice.
Howdy! Thanks for stopping by. I’m currently living and working in Jeju, South Korea as an international school educator, and have no plans to return to the US anytime soon. As an expat, I travel frequently, have lived on 4 continents in 6 countries, and have visited 5 continents and 39 countries so far. I plan on experiencing as much of the world as possible in my lifetime, and I will step foot on all 7 continents by the time I’m 45!
Choosing to move abroad has been the best decision of my life. Not only has it afforded me opportunities I would otherwise have not had- career, travel, new friends, etc.- but it has shaped who I am today. Traveling, meeting new people, and experiencing new things are among the greatest gifts we can give ourselves.

Jennifer, if Trump wins the election, maybe you can secure teaching positions for my wife and I at your school! We will have to get out of the country!
I feel ya!! I hope for America’s sake that doesn’t happen, but let’s chat if it does.
Hi Jennifer
Thank you for following my blog. The picture on this post must have been taken in Corfu which is one of my favourite places to visit every year. Where do you currently teach? I am originally from Jakarta. What a lovely blog to share your footprints in different countries.

Hi Jennifer,
I am looking at possibly applying to the Albanian College Durres school for a teaching position. I’m wondering if you can tell me what you know about the school. Is it stable? What are the working conditions like? How is management? Would you recommend working at this school?
Thanks,
Pop
Just read about your plans for South Korea-so exciting! I remember when you asked me about selling your place even though you thought you would be back soon. I’m so inspired by all of your achievements and adventures. I hope quarantine and related travel hiccups don’t impact your plans too greatly. š
